联合国《生物多样性公约》第十五次缔约方大会（COP15）于2021年10月（第一阶段）、2022年4-5月（第二阶段）在中国云南省昆明市举办。为切实宣传COP15大会主题，即“生态文明：共建地球生命共同体”，在COP15云南省筹备办新闻宣传部指导、中国电影美术学会学术支持下，云南艺术学院、全国设计“大师奖”、云南省美术家协会共同主办“多彩·共栖”——基于生物多样性的全球美术与设计大赛。
The 15th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP15) was held in Kunming of Yunnan Province, China in October 2021 (Phase One) and will welcome the Phase Two in April and May 2022. In order to promote the theme of COP15, "Ecological Civilization: Building a Shared Future for All Life on Earth", under the guidance of the Publicity Department of the Yunnan Steering Group Office for COP 15, academic support from China Film Art Direction Academy, Yunnan Arts University, Dashi Award and Yunnan Artists Association organized the "Colourful Mutualism: Global Art and Design Competition Based on COP15".
