儒艮一般组成群体活动，如果同伴受伤，其他儒艮就会在它的身边久久不肯离去，以往人们便会利用受伤的幼崽进行群体诱杀，

作品以群体儒艮旋绕在一只受伤儒艮的的周围逐渐混为漩涡为表现方式，体现其由人类活动所导致的生境压力，以儒艮为引呼吁大家关注海洋濒危野生动物及日益严重的海洋白色塑料污染问题。

Dugongs lives in groups. If there is one getting hurt, the others will wander around for a long time. In the past, people trap baby Dugongs by injured ones. The design show a group of Dugongs surrounding an injured one for such a long time that a vortex formed in order to show the living pressure caused by human activities in hopes of enhance the awareness of the increasing horrible problems of white trash pollution in oceans that endangered wildlife are facing.
